Our Mission

To inspire an enable all young people, especially those who needs us most,

to realize their full potential as productive responsible and caring citizens.

Boys & Girls Club of New Haven "Youth of the Year "Porsha Theulsma and Elisha Reaves

represented our Club at a March 31 legislative breakfast at the State Capitol in Hartford.

There they joined teens from 15 other Connecticut Clubs and received the thanks of

Governor Jodi Rell and Attorney Richard Blumental for being outstanding young people

leading the way for others to follow.

Blumenthal, himself a "Club Kid" from Stamford offered all teens present his help,

should they need it, as they move on through high school, into college and beyond.

Thank you Porsha and Elisha for representing our Club so well.

We are proud of you and your achievements !
