Once a ‘Club Kid’, always a ‘Club Kid’. Your Boys & Girls Club of New Haven experience and memories will stay with you always.
Club Kid from 1971-1978. Co-founder/COO of Victory Human Services in Boston, MA. Social justice and human rights activist. “I was part of the first group of girls who were allowed to become members, back when it was called the Boys Club! ‘Joy’ is what comes to mind when I think of my Club years.”
Club Kid in 2003 and 2004. Club Board Member, Assistant Director of Financial Analysis at The Hartford and UConn MBA candidate. “My favorite memory was playing basketball and going on trips. It was my first time really experiencing things outside my neighborhood.”
Club Kid in the early 1950s. Retired educator of 37 years and proud father and grandfather. “The Club was our home away from home, and gave us access to things and experiences our parents could not afford. We thought we were rich kids….the Club made us rich kids.”
