The Club Goes Virtual

The Boys & Girls Club of New Haven is proud to offer our very first Virtual Fun and Learning Summer Camp! In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we realize that there are still Club members and New Haven community members in search of quality summer activities. In our ongoing effort to meet the needs of the youth and families of New Haven, we hope that this alternative to our limited in-person Summer Camp will keep existing and prospective Club members safe while providing a great summer experience!

Please take a look at the flyer below for directions on how to register and receive further details from our staff!

Join Us For Summer Camp 2020!

The Boys & Girls Club of New Haven is back just in time for summer fun! We will be operating an in-person summer camp out of our Main Site located on Columbus Avenue. However, we will have limited spots in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Directions on how to register for one of our mandatory parent orientations can be found below. We will provide full details about our in-person programs at these orientations.

*The Club has consulted local, state, and federal public health authorities as well as the Centers for for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the health and safety of all participants in our Summer Camp 2020 and minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

The Club hosts weekly Zoom Workouts for members of the BGCNH basketball team. Despite COVID-19 we’re focused on ensuring that Club members are engaged and staying active throughout the day!

Safety is the number one priority of Boys & Girls Clubs of New Haven, and we are doing everything possible to keep children, our staff, and volunteers protected from the COVID-19 virus. We continue to monitor all updates from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Connecticut State Department of Health for updated information. We are advising all of our staff, families, and youth members to take precautions recommended by the CDC, as well as providing additional resources like handwashing guides, at-home teaching resources and information about how to talk to young people about the spread of COVID-19 via our social media accounts: & We will continue to monitor the issue and will provide additional guidance to our community stakeholders as we learn more. As always, we place the safety of our youth and staff at the highest level. Sincerely, BGCNH Board Members and Staff
